SCERT COVID-19 Update

Updated: Nov 18, 2021

The COVID-19 pandemic has had serious implications in all areas of our lives. Given the current red alert status for COVID-19 in the Greater Region of Montreal, the SCERT committee has decided to postpone the reopening of research with Summit School students until we can ensure the safety of our students, staff, and researchers. The SCERT has developed a COVID-19 protocol, based on that being implemented by Summit School, which will be shared with any on-site visitors upon the reopening of our centre for testing.

Currently, the SCERT is accepting project proposals for research that can be conducted exclusively online. We have recently accepted an interesting project investigating support to parents of children with Neurodevelopmental conditions during the pandemic. In addition, the SCERT has gathered some preliminary data on Summit School’s online learning experience and is busy preparing reports on the results. Stay tuned!
